It should be evident by now that we’re stoked about Werner Paddles at KayakDave.com. These paddles really outshine most of the competition from their ingenious design to their supreme craftsmanship to their smooth feel on the water. But with so many great paddles to in the Werner line-up to choose from where do you start?
The goal of this mini-series is to compare Werner’s touring paddles head-to-head. We’ll take a look at the Camano, Kalliste, Little Dipper, Athena, Ikelos, Corryvrecken, Cyprus, and Shuna. Recommendations will be made as to whom they’re best suited for based on paddle angle, weight, blade area, cost and feel on the water. Finally, we’ll assess whether or not the performance core is all that it’s cracked up to be. Stay tuned for this four-part, battle-royal-de-paddles to see which Werner touring paddle gets the nod. I promise you that the results will be quite interesting!

Note: None of the instructors at KayakDave.com have a pro-deal with Werner Paddles or are otherwise affiliated with the company (at least not yet
). We levitated to these paddles on our own and love them for what they are: great paddles!
